Support
We’re here to help you hear every payment.
Getting started
- Install DigiSoundBox from Google Play.
- Allow Notification access when asked.
- Open Apps and tick the payment apps (and any bank SMS senders) you want announced.
- That’s it — the next payment will be read out loud.
Common questions
It says “sound files not present” or I hear no voice
This happens when your phone has no text-to-speech voice installed for the chosen language. The quickest fix: open Settings → Always use online voice in DigiSoundBox and keep internet on — it uses our high-quality cloud voice and works even with no voice pack on the phone. You can also install a voice via your phone’s Settings → Text-to-speech output → Install voice data (Google Text-to-Speech recommended).
Announcements stop when the screen is off or after some time
Your phone is likely closing the app to save battery. Set DigiSoundBox to Unrestricted / Don’t optimize in battery settings, and turn on Autostart. On Xiaomi/Redmi (MIUI/HyperOS), Oppo, Vivo and similar phones this step is essential — the app’s on-screen setup guide links you straight to the right screen.
A payment wasn’t announced
Make sure that payment app is ticked in the Apps list and that notification access is still granted. Some phones revoke notification access after an update — re-grant it if needed.
Stop certain banks from being announced
Open Settings → Muted Banks (SMS) and add the sender name (for example HDFCBK). Messages from muted senders are skipped — no voice, no chime.
Turn the alert chime on or off
The short chime before each announcement is off by default. Toggle it under Settings → Alert tone.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. The on-device voice works offline. The optional HD online voice and staff sync need internet.
What does Premium add?
Premium unlocks the natural HD voice and is an optional upgrade through Google Play. The core payment announcements are free.
